Hello everyone! My name is Pavel, and I decided to somehow make an article about one of my favorite childhood games – “Heroes of Might and Magic 3” (HoMM III). What I can say about this strategy game is that it’s a classic that will never die. The game itself was released in 1999 and is still relevant among old players today!
This game is very deep and has many different mechanics that affect the outcome of your game.
You can describe the mechanics endlessly, but I decided to walk around the tip of the iceberg and talk about the most powerful creatures in the game by level.
Well, let’s get started!
(I’ll say right away – I will list upgraded creatures from levels 1 to 7. This is kind of top. Opinion is purely personal, and I do not deny that it may not coincide with someone else’s opinion.)
1. Halberdier
A level 1 creature, which is probably the coolest for this level 🙂
All I can say about it is that it’s not bad at first, but by the end of the game it becomes not entirely useful.
Advantages:
-Highest health indicator;
-Highest attack rate;
-Highest damage rate;
-Second highest protection rate.
Cons:
-High cost.
Further in my top two creatures fit in one place at once!
2. Storm Elemental
This is an awesome creature for level 2, I would even say cheating, since it can easily destroy absolutely everyone at level 2, and even most creatures at level 3. Not only is the creature quite strong, but the upgraded creature also gains the ability to ranged attack! Unfortunately, they have a low speed, a small increase per week and a high cost, but it’s worth it, believe me!
Advantages:
-Ranged attack;
-All tactical indicators.
Cons:
-Vulnerable to some common spells.
2.Harpy Witch
Well… What can I say – not as strong as the same storm elementals, but they have a couple of key features that make this creature quite good.
Advantages:
-The highest speed indicator;
-Unanswered attack;
-Return to original position.
Cons:
-Low attack rate;
-Lowest damage rate;
-High cost.
And again, only at the 3rd level of creatures there were 2 creatures:
3.Iron Golem
Iron and terrifying, but https://playspielothekcasino.co.uk/ very slow golems. However, the large amount of health and defense compensates for the low speed.
Advantages:
-Highest health indicator;
-Highest protection rate;
-Low cost;
-Immune to Disease, Death Cloud, Life Steal, Old Age, Death Glare, Poison and Fear;
-Absorbing Magic.
Cons:
-Lowest speed;
-Low growth;
-Immunity to Resurrection and Sacrifice.
3.High Elf
Pretty nice elves at level 3 with double shot. Are good shooters.
Advantages:
-Ranged attack;
-Highest damage rate;
-A double shot, especially if it turns out successful, i.e.e. causing double damage;
-Low cost.
Cons:
Lowest health score;
Low protection rate.
Unconditionally 1st place among 4th level creatures is occupied by vampire lords. These are the most powerful creatures in the game due to their cheating ability to be revived by absorbing health from opponents. Hundreds of vampires can create real miracles!
Advantages:
-Vampirism;
-Unanswered attack;
-Second highest speed.
Cons:
-Highest cost among level 4 creatures.
2 creatures that deserve to be in the same place:
5.Mighty Gorgon
Good creatures that have the ability to cast a “Death Glare” when attacking, which is truly deadly.
Advantages:
-Highest protection rate;
-Highest health indicator;
-death glare.
Cons:
-Low attack rate;
-Low speed.
5.Lord of the Jinn
Useful creatures at their level that can buff any creature in your army.
Advantages:
-Flight ability;
-Random blessing;
-Third highest damage indicator;
-Highest speed.
Cons:
-Low health score .
6.Sinister Knight
The Sinister Knight is the exact opposite of the champions, very powerful creatures with the ability to apply a useful debuff to your enemies. This is the only way heads will fly off, I guarantee it!
Advantages:
-Death blow;
-Highest attack rate;
-Highest protection rate;
-Highest health score.
Cons:
-Largest damage spread.
At the last, 7th level of creatures, there are 2 creatures worthy of attention:
Archangels. What can I tell you about them, except maybe about their beautiful beard?? I can say about the useful ability to resurrect creatures in your army and that they are the most powerful among the 7th level.
Advantages:
-Highest attack rate;
-Highest protection rate;
-Second highest speed indicator;
-Second highest damage indicator;
-No damage spread;
-Resurrection of the Allies.
Cons:
-Lack of magical immunity.
Titans are the most powerful shooters in the game, and also not bad creatures of level 7. With the “Shooting” skill there will be no trace left of enemies.
Advantages:
-Ranged attack;
-Highest health indicator;
-Highest upper damage threshold;
-Immune to mind control.
Cons:
-Low speed.
These are not all creatures, there are also creatures up to level 11, but unfortunately it is impossible to buy them from castle buildings – only in special buildings on the map.
I’ll tell you about the most powerful of them:
11.Azure Dragon
The most powerful in general in the game, 7 levels cannot compare with it in power, but because of this, this dragon has the highest cost of the creature in the game.
Advantages:
-All tactical indicators of the azure dragon are the highest among all units in the game;
-Fear.
-Dragon’s Breath
-Immunity to all spells of levels 1-3, as a result – the impossibility of casting negative spells and weak spells of offensive magic on azure dragons.
Cons:
-Immunity to all spells of levels 1-3, as a result – the impossibility of casting a number of positive spells on azure dragons.
With this I can finish my top. This is my first blog and I urge you to criticize honestly. If there are errors, disadvantages, or you didn’t like something in what was written, feel free to write in the comments, I will take everything into account and think it over.
If this topic comes up for you, I’ll probably do a topic on castles, and then maybe I’ll do a general review of the heroes with purely my opinion.
