“Peacemakers” Story from the West Coast. Part one.

Hello, Stopgeym, I want to say that this story I invented was inspired by Total War and a couple of previous blogs. If at least someone likes it, I’ll release a sequel.

Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.

Usually the sound of a clock calms me down, but this morning it was exactly the opposite. Every second that passed only hit me harder, as if to say: “Your failure. Ha. Ha. Your failure. Ha. Ha…"

I was brought out of my stupor by the opening of the door and the entrance of Captain Fergus, whom I had previously sent to find out the situation in the ministry. In response to my silent question, Dylan sighed and began to tell:

— Arris Aivinivitsky is indignant and demands to punish us as those responsible for naval defense. The commander of the Iron Legion, as usual, sucks up to him, and Ire Bivinkotahsky defends us, saying that the mercenaries were not able to stop the damn invasion.

– You don’t think we need to reveal our mistake?? — Dylan asked with some suspicion.

– I… I don’t know. So many sacrifices and for what?? To steal some money?

– Well, first of https://fwincasino.co.uk/withdrawal/ all, a lot of money, not “a little”. Secondly, we are mercenaries, what else can you expect from us?? If only they would give us the honor of being called a clan, there would be no problems, because we would be able to collect tribute from the surrounding villages. You yourself know that we do not have enough funding. Damn it, it was YOUR idea, Ron!

I just sighed in response. Yes, it was my idea to embellish the costs of the northern flotilla in order to put money in my pocket. Otherwise they would immediately go to create the Western Coast Battery.

“Listen,” Dylan said conciliatoryly, “no one will even know about our little mistake if we just shut up.”. None of these idiots with katanas will even know!

– He won’t know what? – someone else asked mockingly.

Dylan jumped in surprise, and my heart almost stopped.

– Hey guys, it’s me, John, I was just joking! – As soon as he saw our faces, he immediately felt guilty.

– I really have no idea what’s going on. Why is everyone running around like crazy, and Hugh is going to the ministry??

– WHAT? – we asked in unison.

“What’s wrong…” John asked, perplexed.

– Because Hugh is a native of Albion and does not know how to lie, like all the Eldar!

– Well, Johnny, “I’ll give you a brief description on the way,” Dylan hissed and turned his gaze to me, “Ron, will you come with us?”? Any help with Hugh will be useful, you know that he is stubborn and painfully honest.

Feeling that loneliness would only put more pressure on my nerves, I nodded and rose from my chair.

– Great! “Now listen to what happened this morning,” the captain said, going out into the corridor, “Today, at approximately nine forty local time, the nineteenth western construction post reported to the dispatcher that it sees an armada of ships approaching from the west. The controller tried to establish contact with the admiral of that fleet, but failed, and therefore sent an open message that if no one contacted him, he would order the coastal batteries to open fire. In response to this threat, the fleet reduced the nineteenth western construction post, as well as the planned battery structures, to ruins in four salvos. It’s clear for now?

“Y-yes,” John said, turning pale.

– Great, then let’s continue. The dispatcher, realizing that contact was lost, ordered the seventh western detachment of the coast guard to reconnoiter the situation, but received information almost immediately. It turned out that the fleet consists of ten ships of class A, covered with iron. Six went to Violet Dawn Bay, and the rest split into two equal groups and went in opposite directions along the coast. The dispatcher attempted to warn the garrison of a coastal fortress under construction at a fishing village located in the Bay, but was too late because the garrison was the first to request support. The dispatched detachment, consisting of three techno-samurai and two representatives of our office, found out that the ships first destroyed the village in volleys, and then landed troops. All survivors, except the rescued four children, were taken onto ships as prisoners. The attackers instantly occupied the fortress and took control of the village when the detachment had to retreat. This is exactly what the dispatcher told the Minister of Defense of the Holy Archipelago!
