Energy Plantation Projects India Ltd (EPPI) is a company established to prove the concept of High Density Man-made Regenerative Forests with Fast Growing trees (3 to 4 years) to provide fuel for Biomass Energized Electrical Power Stations. This converted the 450 acres of dry lands with lakhs of trees near Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

Lands at Sivagangai District : About 300 acres in 2 plots close to each other

'O' Farm : Total Area is about 200 Acres. The location is approximately 50 kms towards east coast from Madurai. The nearest sea shore is at Thondi and is 60 kms from these farms.
1. Nearest Airport is at Madurai. Good train connectivity is available from Chennai to Sivagangai.
2. We have a guest house at a place called Nattarasankottai, which is 7 kms from District headquarters. All facilities such as hospital, hotels, bank etc are available at Sivagangai.
3. Temperature reaches 40 degrees during peak summer with 70 – 80% of humidity.
4. Annual rainfall is 800 mm. North east monsoons is the source of the rainfall here, we do not get any rainfall from south west monsoons. Therefore it rains only during Oct, Nov & Dec every year.
5. Soil is red sandy loamy soil with good depth and a PH of 6.5 throughout.
6. The location is in the heart of chettinad belt. One can reach Tiruchi, Madurai, Rameshwaram, Tanjavur and many more heritage places within 2 hours from this location.

Satheesh Gundappa, also know as Sati. He is a Promoter and Executive Director responsible for Extension Operations. An Economics Graduate from Bangalore University. Started his career in CMIE a company which is into Micro & Macro Economic analysis.

Mr. S. Venkatesam

(Founder and Executive Chairman)

S. Venkatesam, also known as Sam. He is a Founder and Executive Chairman, dedicated to Power Stations is first of its kind in the world. A Graduate of Manager of Managers Institute from Motorola University. Started his career in IAF and took part in Pakistan wars.

Late Murali Dutt G K

(Promoter, Founder and Director)

Murali Dutt G K, he was a promoter and founder and Director. He was in charge of logistics, administration and land purchase. An LLB, PG-DBA, a third generation Advocate. Started his career from the Family established Business in the Legal World along with his Father and he is a practicing Labour Law Consultant.

Mr. Noshir Colah

(Director)

Noshir Colah is the Director. His domain knowledge includes renewable energy and green technology, construction, mechanical engineering and the services sector. An M.B.A with a dual specializations in Finance and Computer Systems in Business from Ohio University and is an alumnus of Mumbai’s St. Mary’s School (ISC), Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Government Law College.
